Data Extractor allows to extract data from files and collect them ready to be exported for later use.

Data is collected in records with custom specified fields inside an internal table. Data can be exported at any time.

It solves the problem that often advanced users have, the necessity to extract data available in text format on one or more files (often thousands and thousands of files) , and moving them inside a table or a database in an ordered and structured form with fields and records for archiving and successive processing.

Data extractor can parse thousands and thousands of file in few seconds and collect all the data inside these files using simple instructions on how to recognize data, how to extract them and where to put these data inside Data Extractor tables, ready to be exported.

When the data you want to extract are recognizable inside a text by a start label and the end of data by another label or a newline or return or a tab, Data Extractor can extract it and do in few seconds ,the job you would requires weeks or months to do.

Data Extractor provides all the tools to accomplish these specific tasks in a fast and smart way.

The app provides an internal database table where data can be collected. Data are always available for export on disk in CVS (comma separated value) or TSV (tab separated value) Name of custom fields can be used as first record during exportation.

The application is document based and any document can be customized for fast batch processing of large amount of data with specific sources, rules of extractions and custom destination fields.

The application includes a PDF user guide and an internal help with also 4 practical lessons on how to extract data from text files and put them inside a table the user can create and modify. Due to the complexity of the operations we discovered that it is a lot easier to show to the user some examples of usage before explaining from a general point of view how the app works. Data Extractor is useful in a large array of circumstances:

  • Transform order or data in general you receive via email in a database records (Data Extractor can parse directly emails pointing at your mailbox on your Hard Disk)
  • Collect order received as server output when not directly inserted inside a database
  • Extract data from files one by one, also dragging them via Drag & Drop
  • Convert data provided in one format to another when the first format uses a recognizable patter with labels to identify data fields
  • Extract data from files where data are written all in one file with record separated just by a distinctive string
  • Extract data from files where records are separated by newline with fields all in one line identified just by labels
  • Extract data from text document where misleading labels can result in extracting the wrong data, thanks to the use of special tag usable to instruct Data Extractor where to really start collect data

RailModeller is a solution to create layouts for model railroads and slot car systems in an intuitive and flexible way on your Mac.

Layouts are built by simply dragging the tracks from the library to the layout. Tracks magnetically snap to free track-segments on the trackplan, automatically rotate to the correct angle and can optionally be colorized automatically to match the color of the segment.

The object of the game is simple – combine four rubber balls with similar colors to make them disappear and gain points. Sounds easy right? Wrong! Although the introductory levels are designed for novice gamers, each round gets more and more challenging and causes the gamer to use the properties of rubber to complete each round. Balls are dispensed from the top left of the screen at preset intervals or at the user's discretion by simply double-tapping the background. During the higher levels, other objects such as wooden blocks and springs are introduced to make the game more thought-provoking. The real-life response to each raw material in the game is enough to make you appreciate the app. Tapbounce is a game of physics as much as it is a game of skill. If you can master the physical traits of rubber, then you can master the game!

iDentify is an OS X application for tagging iTunes compatible MP4 video files.

Normally, when you convert a video file to the format used by iOS devices such as the iPad, iPod, iPhone or AppleTV, all the information about the video is missing! The only thing you see is the name of the file where the title of the video should be! Enter iDentify 2!

iDentify 2 looks at the name of files as they are added to it. Based on the name of the file, iDentify determines wether it is a TV Show or movie based on common naming conventions. From the file name, a lot of information can be gleaned, such as movie title, show name, season number, episode number, year of release, and imdb code. iDentify can then automatically look on The TVDB, The Movie DB, and tagChimp to gather more information about the title, such as description, rating, chapter names and more! iDentify also inspects the file and can automatically turn on the HD flag on the movie when the resolution of the file goes above a set minimum!

iDentify not find your video? fixing it is easy! Simply edit the movie title or show name to match that found on theMovieDB.org, or theTVDB.com (respectively) and click rescan!

Want to change the tags of multiple files in one fell swoop? No problem! Add the files to iDentify, select all the ones you want to edit from the list, and click edit. All changes you make are now applied to all selected files!

When you are done, just click "Process Files" to write the new information to your files, and when iDentify is done, you are ready to add your videos to iTunes!

Want even more automation?

You can optionally choose to register the software for the low cost of 9.95. When you register, you will be emailed a registration key that unlocks the following:

  • Automatically add files to iTunes after being processed
  • Automatic file renaming to any naming convention you choose!
  • Option to mark your files with a green label in Finder after iDentify has finished processing them
  • Option to automatically process files and quit iDentify when files are added

FBContacts is an application that loads your Facebook friends' data and matches them with the contacts that you already have in your Address Book.
