Blacklight: Retribution, Primal Carnage: Genesis coming to PS4

Posted: 25 Mar 2013 07:57 PM PDT

Sony confirms new games from Zombie Studios, Lukewarm headed to next-gen platform; Spelunky coming to PS3, PS Vita.

During a media presentation this evening as part of the 2013 Game Developers Conference, Sony announced that Blacklight: Retribution and Primal Carnage: Genesis are headed to the PlayStation 4.

Developed by Zombie Studios, Blacklight: Retribution is the a free-to-play title and the first game from Sony's Pub Fund for PS4. The game launched last year for PC.

A trailer for Primal Carnage: Genesis was shown, depicting an Tyrannosaurus Rex escaping from a laboratory. The game runs on the Unreal Engine 4 and is described as a "story-driven" experience that will release episodically.

"It was a difficult decision for us, given the relative newness of episodic storytelling," game director Ashton Andersen said in a statement. "Ultimately, the episodic method ended up being the clear victor due to the versatile nature of creating a story episode by episode."

Sony also announced today that Spelunky is headed to PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. The game launched last summer for Xbox 360 and PC to a positive critical reception.

Lastly, Sony also confirmed earlier reports that The Walking Dead and Limbo are headed to PS Vita, though no release dates were divulged.

Quicksilver 1.0.0 - Application launcher and much more. (Free)

Posted: 25 Mar 2013 08:59 PM PDT

Quicksilver is a light, fast and free Mac application that gives you the power to control your Mac with keystrokes alone.

Quicksilver allows you to find what you need quickly and easily, then act upon these objets as you see fit. All with your fingers on the keyboard. As an example, if you want to find an application hidden in the depths of your file system, simply activate Quicksilver with a keystroke, type a few letters of the application's name, then hit Return or Enter to launch it, or tab and type to find an action such as Quit, Trash, Email To..., Run at Login, Move To..., Get Info, Reveal, the list goes on.

Quicksilver indexes and parses only selected parts of the contents of your hard drive in the Catalog, which means it locates and displays the items matching your search quickly.
